The First Computer Corporation

After some deliberation, consulting with family and friends, and exploring his options Eckert and Mauchly, with some financial backing from Pres' father, started the worlds first computer business, Electronic Control Co. Their first offices were located at 1215 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA In the collection are Pres' original carbon copies of their business plan, including their original employment agreement signed by Eckert, Mauchly, and the Corporate Secretary. The vision they describe in their plan is uncannily accurate and foresees most of the areas to which computers have been put to use.
