Philadelphia AwardEckert and Mauchly received another award from the Franklin Institute in 1973.
This was the most elaborate of all the awards. The award program said it was designed by Violet Oakley. It is contained in this wooden box decorated with brass hardware. The medallion is mounted in the wood frame which is set inside the box. This assembly pops out to reveal a hand written certificate.
